Yvolve Sports Recalls Electric Skateboards due to fall hazard;
New instructions and warning labels provided.

Name of Product: Neon one wheel electric skateboards
Hazard: The tire on the skateboard can deflate, posing a fall hazard to the user.
Remedy: New Instructions; Warning label
Consumers should stop using the skateboards immediately and contact Yvolve Sports to receive a new permanent warning label and updated instructions on how to properly inflate the tire. The warning sticker that we’ll be sending out to consumers on request will show the information below:
ALWAYS keep tire pressure between 28 PSI and 32 PSI.
TOO LOW tire pressure can lead to unsafe and hazardous riding conditions that could result in injury.
TOO HIGH tire pressure can result in tire damage, leading to unsafe and hazardous riding conditions that could result in injury.

Description: This recall involves the Neon Nitro 8, a self-balancing, single-wheeled, battery-powered, electric skateboard from Yvolve Sports under the Neon brand. The product is powered by the user placing one foot on the rear and front decks, gaining balance and then shifting their weight backwards or forwards to control the speed. “Neon” is printed on the skateboard.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 117 reports of flat tires. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Walmart, Toys “R” Us and online at Amazon.com from October 2017 through September 2018 for about $500.
Importer/Distributor: Yvolve Sports Ltd, of Torrance, Calif.
